Well, you kinda need it down there. That reminds me... I think the shaft seal on my compressor in the Mustang went kaput last season... maybe. Now I can't remember!
Oh, remember you called me on my "I don't like 20's comment?" I think yours aren't horrible because they're black.

lol...yeah. I've never been a fan of chrome and only like white or silver/grey on a vehicle. A black wheel pops on that color. I think a 20 with a 33 or 35 tire looks really good on a truck. It fills the wheel wells out nicely.

I'm the guy looking for the bed cover for a Flareside
Very nice work on the 99. Looks like many hours of diligent and precise work! My '98 is the same Lariat Edition as yours but stock 4.6 with 48,300 miles on it. It has gray leather and a front bench seat instead of buckets like yours. Same Oxford white original paint and still in good shape. I bought it from the estate of an 85 year old fellow who died last year and it was garage kept its whole life.
I've done a few items to it such as a new Pioneer HU (double din), installed a back up camera, installed step rails, and replacement f some rubber and plastic parts. I was wondering where you got the HU dash trim as mine is homemade and not very attractive? I'd like to replace it if I find (or make) something to fill the gap around the HU better than the painted foam rounds I currently have in there.
Cheers! (Pic of truck below)

Very clean truck buddy, looks really good. I picked mine up from an older gentleman as well, so it was well kept. I try to make any modifications that I do practical and useful, not just to throw something on the truck because it fits. I appreciate the compliment.
With the trim ring around my double din, it just happen to work. As you saw it the pics I screwed the radio right it to the dash support. So the trim ring just sits around it with the bezel keeping it in place. It doesn't move around at all. It was literally a perfect fit.

@OhioLariat used something to fill the gap left in his. It came out looking good. Maybe he can chime in for you.

I used some closed-cell weatherstripping to fill in the sides. The trim kit surround wouldn't work, as there was zero space top and bottom, so I returned the install kit altogether. You can see pics in THIS POST from my build thread.
