I picked up this cable, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It was really simple, even for me who is not exactly the most computer savvy.
It showed up after I disabled the door ajar chime. When I go back in I'll probably change it again and see if it still throws the code.

I've had that DTC come & go for a couple of years now....never disabled any chimes thru FORScan. Never caused any issues either.

I'm really not too worried about it, everything still functions the way I want it to. I might look into getting rid of the bass roll off but haven't found out how yet. I really want to put a new stereo in the truck but I want to do it all at once so I'll keep saving.

There may be a whole lot more out there with this DTC. If you don't look you would never know it's there. I guess it's maybe better not to look sometimes. If it were serious it would be a hard fault

Played around tonight, went back and enabled the door chime...no DTC right now. I'll check it again tomorrow after i drive about 45 miles round trip to work.
I think I'll do something with the fender emblems soon. Trying to decide on an accent color. Was thinking maybe dark grey...
