Naw, take them off, clean them good, let them sit out in the sun to get dry and nice and hot, pull them back into the garage, put index cards around the lip and have at it. I cant wait to see them. I have honestly thought about doing my wheels to see how it looks. Doubt I ever will, but it has crossed my mind.

All done. I'm happy with the color, however there is so much metallic it looks almost like glitter when the light hits it just right. Other than it looks like a glitter bomb went off in my garage and all over my blue paint, well worth a few hours and $40.
For anyone thinking about using the Rust-Oleum peel coat, make sure you lay down a base layer of plasti dip. I tried doing my rear emblem with just peel coat and couple issues. 1. It does NOT come off easy like plasti dip, I had to rub with a microfiber to get it off. 2. It will stain your paint if you don't get it off immediately. I went to pull off the excess and was left with a ghost image of where it was. I removed it all at that point, and hit it with a clay bar and diluted mineral spirits.

I REALLY like that! Good job! Looks like it's just about a dead match for the boards. LOL, I can tell you've got 35's on there now. Looking very good.

Thanks guys.
So the wife and I ran some errands today and when the sun hits the wheels it's a little too much metallic. Even the wife said it looked like I poured glitter on the wheels. Idk, maybe I'm over thinking it but what do you guys think?
This is the best pic I could get of it and it doesn't even come close to seeing it in person. The surface is smooth but it almost looks rough because of the flake. *If you're on your phone, zoom in.

I'll give it a couple weeks to see if the strip club version of the sport wheels tones itself down a bit.
Both cans with the different labels were the exact same stuff, I coated an index card to verify before I started spraying. Yup, that was 5 or 6 coats of plasti dip and several coats of the Rust-Oleum... probably more than 10. With that said this pic is after 3 light coats.
