Go ahead and get the cluster...in the long run you will thank yourself for it. Like Mike said its one of the easiest mods you can do to something you HAVE to look at every time you use the truck. That was one of the first things I changed, & still have zero regrets

I've got these headed my way:
Picked these up on an impulse buy while buying stuff I actually need from Amazon. I planned on using them as puddle lamps under the truck. Here's my delima, the interior light under the door sills runs to the bcm, not sure I want to venture down that road. Others have pulled directly from the 3rd brake cargo lamps...lots of wire to run inside the cab. One person used power from the 12 pin tailgate for the tailgate handle led. I'm leaning towards this option however I'm second guessing the whole project.
I guess I could always wire them to a switch for actual rock lights that I'll never use.

8" cluster installed. Probably the easiest mod I've ever done, 10 mins maybe wrapped up in disassembly and reassembly. The cluster looks absolutely amazing.
Now the problem I have is the 4.2" radio looks even worse lol
