Then follow these instructions on trimming just one tab on the 9011 bulbs, very easy to do:

Sorry for the dumb question...Do I understand this correctly you just buy the standard low cost Philips 9011 and trim the tab...How does this improve the high beams?

Thanks! I ordered DD SL1s for the lows but couldn't justify the highs. I'll order some 9011 and get them installed in SE Fixtures so they are ready to go. The life of a high beam doesn't bother me much at all...I use them so infrequently.

Sorry 96grimreper for going off topic on your build thread....The new headlights look great too BTW!

Doesn't bother me, I ordered the same Phillips bulbs to replace my high beams and they are sitting on my bar in the basement. I just completely forgot about them when I did the install this weekend.

I've been thinking about messing around with the forscan for awhile but not sure it's worth the money for me. For now, I can only really think of enabling the bambi mod and fixing the hyperflash caused by the switchbacks. Anyone local wanna do it for a 6 pack?

You can also use it to recalibrate your speedometer from the larger tires. I’m going to be diving in this weekend. Cost me $65 for a cheap windows 10 tablet, and $18 for the cable. I would’ve spent more than that for a tuner to fix my speedometer.

So I guess I should have read the tutorial a little better. Added this to the cart.

We'll see if I can keep from screwing anything up lol

You're right, I guess the price for the wireless OBDII reader is what's holding me up.

Good point, what cable did you use?
