Question 4bt Cummins Swap

Has anyone out there done or know of someone doing a 2004-2008 F150 4bt Cummins swap? I haven't been able to locate information on doing a swap for this model year.

I did a 4BT swap into a 79 F250. I used the entire drive train[sans rear end] from a wrecked potato chip truck. Swap was simple enough [no intercooler].
pros plenty power, torque, 20+ MPG.
cons heavy, noisy, and shake the fillings out of your teeth. You will need to be on a 1st name basis with your local "Locktite salesman. It's different but I wouldn't want it as a daily driver or on a long trip

This was 20 years a go no computer, no plan just a wrecked truck, a block and tackle, gas ax and a arc welder.

yeah, 4btswaps.com is a pretty cool site to sift through. lots of stuff for old fords. i've even seen one in a '94 explorer.

heck, i've even seen a 6.0 diesel in a ranger, so anything's possible

would a moderator move this to general discussions or something? the first time i opened this thread, it was like hearing "i'm not in the mood" on the night of valentines day. total letdown

personally, i'd like to see a little diesel (4.4L i think) from a newer ford box truck in a newer f150

just looked at the ford website, they have a 3.2L diesel in the Transit Chassis-Cab with 350 lb-ft of torque. One of those in a lowered reg. cab would make a cool little commuter rig. if someone would give me one of those motors, heck, i'd throw it in my Bronco II
