next to go on was SPD turbo adapters. After a tune, these adapters are the best bang for the buck mod you can do for the 3.5l motor. And their customer service is second to none. http://www.spdperformance.com/index....0d4cavdep4sus6
Thanks!

install isnt bad. the only hard part is getting the stock studs out of the back of the turbo. i welded a nut to the end of the stud and they came out with ease. if you cant weld, buy the stud remover and youll be fine. took me about 6 hours but that includes spending over an hour trying to remove the first stud without welding. after we realized welding a nut would be easy, it took 15min to get all 4 out. that 6 hours also included 45min to look for one damn socket. so the job isnt bad at all.

wait. what?
this is awesome haha.
I want those adapters too, but I no longer have access to a lift so I'm not sure I wanna pull my downpipes off on the ground. sounds like they're well worth the investment anyway.

shaggy, yes i did. although technically if you can pull the studs out without damaging them you can reuse the studs. i was worried about damaging the studs so i played it safe. gasket can be reused as well
david, i did my install on my back in my home garage. found it easy to remove the downpipes while on the ground

Ive had a catch can on the truck since right after i bought it. didnt want to spend a ton of money so i bought a can for $15 off ebay and put some stain steel kitchen scrubbers inside to act as baffling. then i bought a hose from a v6 mustang off ebay for about $8 so i could use the factory hose ends. i bought some cheap water line from home depot and attached it to the can and too the factory style hose pcv hose ends. this allowed me to keep my stock pcv hose undamaged. i still let ford to my oil changes so i pull the can and put the stock hose back in before i take the truck in. between this can and the meth, intake valves should stay pretty clean
I was over due for a plug change, so decided to switch to NGK plugs and see how that goes. Some of the other trucks tuned by SSI have tested these plugs with good results
got my nitrous nozzle a couple days ago in the mail. today my nitrous jet came. still a long way off from the install but at least im collecting parts. came up with a good way to install the WOT switch but no reason to do that just yet.
