Default 2018 XLT Supercrew 5.0 Shortbox

Figured I’d post everything I’ve put on my truck in case other people are thinking of getting the same items.

Mods list (how it currently sits);

2) Husky X Contour front mats and a Husky Weather Beater rear mat

3) Special Edition XLT side badges

4) Husky rear wheel well liners (needed some trimming to be installed)

5) Lariat Sport Shadow Black grille

6) Custom red/black painted Ford logos

7) Morimoto XB led Headlights

8) Morimoto XB led fog lights

9) Retrofitted factory LED taillights

10) Truxedo Pro X15 Tonneau Cover

11) OEM Factory tailgate dampner

12) JTL oil catch can

13) Weighsafe 180 hitch 6” drop

————————————————————————

Currently sitting and waiting to go on;

1) Halo Boss coilovers with weather wrap; front set at 2.75” and 2.5” rear blocks

2) Icon neoprene coilover covers to protect bosses from MI road salt

7) Black with red outline raised F-150 tailgate insert letters

8) Readylift/AMI styling demon hooks 2.0 - Tactical black

___________________________________________

Future mods - wrap/paint or get caliper covers in red

on board air compressor

maybe - Borla or another 304 stainless exhaust, tuner with MPT tunes (or another company that is good)

Supercharger (probably not but never know)

Trackbars to keep the rear end more planted (although the boss coilovers might do the trick) - must add with supercharger

Purchased some MGP red caliper covers, Lariat painted mirror caps, Ford OEM mud flaps, an AMI black hitch plug and another tactical black demon hook for the hitch (to match the 2 front ones)

Here’s a picture of it after the tints and before any other mods besides floor mats. Also another picture of the rims/tires mounted compared to stock.

I’ll post one more later today of how it currently sits.

Got them off ebay, great quality. The black is PTM and the red is ford’s race red so they match the special edition side badges

Update; I installed the oem mudflaps which should help once the 285/65’s go on, as well as painted mirror caps.

Also I was able to put 9H ceramic coating on the rims, UCAs, new billet attenna, demon hooks, demon hook hitch plug, and demon hook front mounting brackets. Hopefully this will protect the parts from road salt and other elements.

The Halos, caliper covers, demons hooks, attenna and wheels go on this weekend so it should really change the handling and look of it. Below are pictures of the truck with new badges, lariat grill and morimoto headlight/fog lights

Plus I painted the accents on the MPG caliper covers black instead of having them silver like they come from the manufacturer; should give a nice offset from the badges and rims.

The attenna is an AMI 7/16” billet aluminum stick if anyone was wondering.

Last item; I have some putco element window shades coming in anyone have input with these?

Mirrors look much improved. Do you have a link for those?

The Ford emblems go good with your F150 XLT badges.

I like the customization choices so far. You've improved without taking it too far in my opinion.

Thanks! I did not want to go over the top with things but I think all these parts will make the truck achieve the look and handling I was going for. Next comes an exhaust in the near future and then enjoy it for a bit (at least my wallet hopes)

Link to OEM mirror caps that are painted to match; https://www.ebay.com/itm/2015-2019-F...72.m2749.l2649

When I installed them I was able to pry them off and pop the new ones in (same mounting tabs) - CJ Pony Parts has a good video on removal.
