Hello again everyone! Met up with a friend of mine who has a’17 lariat FX4 today on stock suspension. We did a fair bit of driving down country roads, highways, and a few I think old logging roads. The bilstein’s performed great!! We switched vehicles a couple times just too compare and the best way I think too describe the ride is firm but smooth. They just absorb the bumps without the bounce after. The stock suspension tends too bounce around after bigger bumps, and the *** end wants too kick out on the washboard portions of the roads. The bilstein didn’t kick out at all compared too the stock ride and absorbed the larger bumps with ease. I’m really happy with the upgrade and seems he’s going too be upgrading his now as well. He’s just debating between the 5100’s and 6112’s.
...no idea why the pictures are sideways...

Well I ended up changing my mind on tires. I went with Ridge Grapplers.
Fuel Vectors 17x8.5 +12
Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/75r17

Hehe yea starting to look a lot better! - next will be the badges and I’m going to attempt the headlamps. Tear them apart and paint the chrome trim black.
