2018 STX 4x4 5.0
During lunch i drove up to a new Ford dealership in town (new as in it's only been open about 10 months). I have had my eye on an STX to replace my 2014 FX (may she rest in peace
My goal was to "build" a truck versus "buying" a truck so the STX was perfect. I could add everything I wanted down the road. Well, long story short, between rebates on remaining 2018s and the fact that they wanted to grow their business, they made me an offer I just couldn't say no to. The color was my second choice (wanted white) so that was nice. It already has the lift, wheels and tires. They also already added Katzkin seats and are going to throw in a spray in bed liner. It was obvious they really wanted to make the deal so I jumped on it. After the lift, wheels, tires, seats and painted front and rear emblems, I was out the door for a few thousand more than what a plain 2019 STX would have run me. I will get more pictures later on. I have some future mods in mind but those will come slowly as my wife and I just bought a new house back in April.

Snapped a couple more pictures before work. It's crappy outside this morning so they are nothing special.
The dealer painted the Ford ovals so that's one thing I don't have to mess with

As I mentioned in the first post, the dealer already installed Katzkin leather seats. I wasn't overly thrilled with the white stitching and piping so they said they would replace these with all black at no cost.

When you see the wheels, the stitching looks okay, but I agree - you need black on black.

Over the weekend I added a little something to the interior. When I'm out on job sites, I often have a lot of downtime just sitting around, so I wanted to mount an ipad to my dash
What I like about this one is when the ipad isn't mounted, it's hard to tell the mount is even there
