2018 Magnetic F150 build

Hey guys, haven't been on the forum in about 5 years. Sold my 99 f150, had a ram for a while, and then got into mustangs. Ill post some pictures of my old car below so you can see what it was. Anyways, I just got tired of dailying a race car while still in college. Decided I was going to return the car to stock, and buy myself an f150. This is what my car looked like before I returned to stock and traded in to bring my f150 home.

Returned the car to stock in 4 days while juggling school and work. Needless to say it was a long 4 days of removing a blower, all of the suspension and the other mile long list of mods. Started looking for trucks and I really wanted lightning blue. Ended up finding a demo truck at a dealership that was a 5.0 4x4 screw. Drove it on a Wednesday afternoon and called the salesman back Thursday morning to tell him i wanted it. Turns out it sold that night. Went back to them after being played with by other dealerships and they had a magnetic sitting there. They said they would give me the same deal as the demo truck, an additional 4k off. Which on the demo truck was for the miles. I spent about an hour test driving it and said I wanted it. I found some scratches and stuff on it which they fixed before I took delivery.

Above is the first time I saw the truck, and my first time driving it. It's a 302A xlt sport. Fell in love with it and bought it. Traded in the mustang on a Friday and brought the truck home the following Wednesday because they had to wait until Monday to repaint the fender from a scratch, and had to fix some other rub marks on it. They ended up getting overspray all over the truck and went back the following week for them to remove all of it and have been happy since.

First stop for it was going to be to get rid of the factory tint. Can't be riding around in Arizona with light tint.

Tint is double 30% on the rear window, 20% on the back sides, and 5% with a layer of 15% over it on the front with a 50% on the windshield. We ended up having to do it like this because the limo tint that the shop had was super light for some reason and wasn't matching the backs. So we added it to darken it up to match all around. Soon after this I knew the lift was coming, especially with all of my mod money coming out of the mustang. Got it all ordered and it looked like christmas when it all showed up.

ift all showed up and had to get the tires mounted then. Was super excited to get everything together.Loved the look of them against the truck and couldn't wait to get them put on. Next finally lined up a weekend where I could go to my buddies shop and finally put the lift on. Gene at Car guy in Chandler AZ, if you ever see this you're seriously a fantastic friend and I would recommend anyone in the area to go to him for anything you could ever need done on a car. Also decided it was a good idea to do my husky rear wheel liners while it was there, since I knew I had to trim for the rear shocks anyway.

At this point I just loved where the truck was going, but decided I hated the factory lights and decided it was time to go with something else. Decided I wanted to do some morimotos, a lariat grille and decided on king ranch tails. I believe i'm the first person to do KR's on an 18, and it's not fun to figure out. Truck has been reading the tails as a short to ground with Ryan B's harness, so him and I are working to get that figured out. Regardless got the KR's on, and tinted along with the new front end. Also forgot to mention I did add the raptor third brake light and ran another wire for the running lights too. Loved the way the new front end turned out. While everything was apart, decided I needed to get my emblems done too. Thank you to Ryan @ Hub city customs for helping me out with these, you really killed them. Since I didn't get my lightning blue truck I figured i'd get it on the emblems. Around here too I got sick of the look of the stock running boards, decided to go away with those and on the amp steps. Got those ordered and wired up as well, truck looks worlds better and the GF is super happy that she can get in without issue. The below pic was right after installing them emblems and the amp steps.

Emblems went on when headlights did, and finally got my ngauge installed. Vent pod is by ben @ block8head customs, and truck is tuned by rob @ PBD. PBD FTW.

Sorry if some stuff is out of order - this went from 62 pictures and was all lined out perfect but had to cut down because thread restrictions. Anyways I ordered an 8 rocklight setup, from firewireleds and can't wait for those to get here. Also have a pmas intake on the way. If anyone has any questions please feel free to ask away. I think I forgot to mention finally getting PTM mirror caps too, didn't snag many pics of my amp step install, or my sound system setup.

Nice truck, I believe that Mustang would've got me in trouble if I had it....
