I replaced the five main stock speakers that came with the truck with new Kicker K 5's. Way better sound quality than stock, even with just a simple swap with no amp, etc.

Didn't consider Infinity, Pioneer, other speakers with lower impedance voice coils ? The Kickers might have been a good choice with more power but lower impedance voice coils take advantage of the puny stock amps.

Dang I didn't even think of that aspect. I will be honest, I found these Kickers on sale on Black Friday for a killer deal so I couldn't pass them up! I may go with the behind the back seat Kicker sub/amp combo kit for the F-150s later on to compliment the main speakers.

Yes! That is what I love about RK Sport. They make their hoods actually functional versus cosmetic. The main middle front scoop drives air down a duct that comes out directly over the cold air intake I installed. Then there is another vent in the inside back of the hood towards the windshield that is supposed to take in the hot air and push it up out the side louvers on the hood.
