Thanks for the kind words sierrafast and killintime. Iíve finally got some updates.
Stereo is done!!! It went as well as I expected it to. Iím running all knuconeptz wire. Stuff is pretty good and they ship super fast when buying from eBay. I went with 18Ē of 0 gauge off the battery. That splits into 2 runs of 4 gauge. The wire is the koloses series and itís all OFC. The power cables are run down the passenger side then across the back wall where the amps are mounted on the rear driver side wall.

The rca and stinger 9 wire are run down the driver side. The amps are a pioneer gmd 8604 and a jbl 500.1. The dsp is an audio control dq61. I know you guys are prolly going to suggest something different. Like a full digital dsp. But I already had this and thereís no software to download or updates that need to be done.

Speakers are jbl club 6x9 components for front and infinity reference 6.5 coax for rear. I used to be sponsored for SPL competitions Way back when, and the stereo shop preferred Harmon products. So Iím still partial to them. Unfortunately Harmon didnít have any shallow mount subs that had the same excursion that shallow mount kickers had. So I went with 2 shallow mount 12s from kicker.

Overall the install went well We tried to put the dsp in the glove box, but it didnít fit. So we put it in the center counsel. All the plastic shrouds had to be pulled off to make that happen, even had to pull the little cubby that has the USB ports. That sucked. We also couldnít find where the tweeter wire was separated. So we ran the crossovers in the dash and ran a new wire to the tweeters, which are mounted in the a-pillar.

System sounds awesome!!! I flattened the factory eq via forscan. I also ended up pulling the center channel. It didnít mesh well and started to sound kind of tinny. Iím also thinking of replacing the 6.5 coax in the rear. Iíll be honest, they sound ďmehĒ and I was hoping for ďok.Ē Im thinking about throwing a set of 6.5 separates back there and mounting the tweeter low in the door somewhere so I donít blow my ears off.

We’re going to fab up some beauty boards to cover the amps. I made a nice rack for them, but my buddy who was helping with the install said whenever he installs on f150s, he like to mount the sub amp directly over the rear wall vent. He said he thought it was better for cooling. Plus once they’re covered with beauty boards, I’ll still have some space for tow straps and stuff.

I also wrapped the center section of the front bumper in matte black vinyl

I also removed the air damn. I think it looks MUCH better

I also tinted the tails, cargo light, blacked out the f150 emblems on the fenders, and removed the ecoboost badges, f150 from the tailgate, and the sport 4x4 stickers from the side of the bed

Epic fail on the lights. I cracked the part of the reflector that adjust beam height. I couldíve fixed it but didnít have time with the holidays and my kids bday. I ended up having a friend retro another set of lights for me.

Also threw some 18x9 @ +12 offset vision rocker wheels. No rubbing with my 285/75r18 Cooper at3. Check out the halos on the projectors, inside ring (70mm halo) is a switchback led with white daytime running light, outside halo (80mm) is daytime running light but amber in color and doesnít have the switchback function hooked up. . Looks really cool when the turns blink.
