Thank you! Stage3 definitely was a motivator to finally get my F150 and start a build.

I will be taking the truck out to the Hollister Hills on some weekends, then eventually plan on venturing out to camp at Usal Beach, Coyote Flat, and Eagle Lake. When I'm more comfortable (and if I think the 157" wheelbase can do it...), hopefully trails like Laurel Lakes.

Your desert runner build makes me super interested in some higher speed desert running too, but have no idea where around here (Bay Area, CA) I could do that.

You can spread the crash bars instead of trimming or cutting them off. What offset wheel are you running?

I have 35's on just a 2" level and don't rub.

I have thought about spreading, but will eventually replace the front bumper so the crash bars will have to get trimmed anyways. The wheels are a 0 offset.

Got the 35s on and... no cutting/trimming/spreading of any kind. We thrashed it pretty hard and had no rubbing at all, even hitting some soft hills/bumps at speed in a turn. The sway bars in the front probably are keeping it from articulating too much to rub, but for now, leaving it as is until seeing how it does on the trails.

I think it looks WAY better...

Bad angle to show the gap in the front...

Beautiful truck! Great set-up you chose with the lift/wheels/tires.

Cool

Nice looking truck! The 35's look much better than the 33's did with the lift!

The first picture is a side shot of the truck. Is there something different specifically that you wanted to see?

The tires are 12x5x18x10.

Thank you! I totally agree. Well worth the trade up. I was trying to think economically, but that was a terrible idea, haha.
