Have gotten spoiled to the memory settings in her Flex. That & the folding mirrors are probably the biggest things from the Lariat that I'd want, that are retrofittable to an XLT.
Ok ok derailers...lol. STOP.

Well... Maybe if you'd post some others we wouldn't derail your thread.

So being that I am building for a sport truck theme, when I came across the AirDesign tailgate spoiler, I knew it was it! No way I could do with the matte black because monochromatic is almost always a better look so I had it painted J7 Magnetic to match

Have to be careful what you wish for...things always get modded out of control!
Stumbled across a thread posted by flsdiver about adding oem ambient lighting controlled thru the MPT...yeah, I want that! And soooo it began I studied upon it, planned, and began to order what all I thought I would need...lol

All of the oem location ambient LEDs

Prototype of my full truck ambient harness

Ambient lighting enabled via FORScan and new ambient menu now appears in APIM!

Color choices to choose from in the APIM

I always try to match up wire gauge as well as color to oem<br/>LIN data 22ga, power/ground....20ga

I started to think that if I am going to do this, then lets do this one step further...lets add the Lariat front and rear door panels....

Front door panel...ordered brand new from Fordparts.com, and was surprised they came with the ambient LEDs in them already.

After getting the new door panels my mind kept going on with ideas...so I decided to add more oem ambient LEDs.....in the rear. But I wanted it to look like it came from the factory. This is what I came up with for the rear....

Installed in the handle part of the rear seats

Testing out the prototype harness, I decided to add ambient lighting to the rear cup holder of the flow thru console....

Added the chrome trimmed cup holder to the rear console, replacing my basic black trimmed cup holder...and added ambient lighting

Started testing ambient lighting

Front and rear cup holders
