Don’t mind me, just lurking in the shadows waiting for the reveal...

BoostedGreyGoose, this is an awesome build. I love seeing everything you do here and dreaming I had the patients to do a lot of this! Keep it up!

Quick question for you. I just installed a Lariat Bezel to add auto climate. Being up in PA I'd like to be able to use the heated seats in the winter without constantly swapping back and forth between Lariat and XLT bezels. How did you get yours working? Was it all part of the main harness swap?

Thanks.

Well I went overboard with mine. I didn't want just the look so yes I replaced several main harnesses and added the dual ac/heater core box.. so now my truck has dual ac/heat as well as heated/cooled massaging seats. For me it just seemed like the next step. Adding the main floor and main dash harness were for different reasons but in doing so, some of these harnesses just made additional upgrades easier.

Ah, ok thanks for the reply. I was hoping it was just a module swap, Oh well.

No, sorry it isn't. There isn't a heat module that controls the heated seats on the XLT. This is kinda the issue. There is a module on the trucks with heated/cooled 💺. The 2 trucks are wired differently. I wish it were easier. :(

No worries. Thanks for getting back to me i appreciate the information. As much as I, and my dog, like the heated seats in the winter I may like the auto climate better.

If things flatten out a lil with the business, I may have more time to look back into this with a possible solution

First let me say that you, 2016BoostedGreyGoose, are a stud! I sat down this AM and started to read this whole thread. start to finish, this has to be one of the nicest, cleanest re-builds i have ever seen. thanks for taking the time out of your life to share this with the rest of us. this post right here has inspired me to change my thinking on what i will be doing to my own F-150. hats off to you.
Secondly, of all the Forums that i have seen, this is the most active and positive one i have seen.
