Lol. I'm hoping I won't have to, as I truly want to finish this! Before I discovered the oil, I spent another $4.5k on various parts and custom fab work time. I'm in this one deep....emotionally. lol

Bro what's happening to us? It's evil eye man. Hope everything works out and it's nothin serious. I am thinking about trading mine in after I get it back. I don't think I wanna drive it again after knowing there's a second engine in less that 15k miles on the clock. Let us know what they dealer says Lawrence.

Sure thing wizard! Hopefully they will determine the issue tomorrow and hopefully it's small. I really like this truck.

I hope so too. I get my truck back in the next week or 2. ford really doesn't like those warranty claims when it comes to their engines. They requested my dealer do a "tear down to failure". So if it was a warrantable issue they would pay for the tear down but if it's not I have to pay for it. So they really screw u either way. If u decided not to fix it at the dealer u have to pay them the 2200 for the rear down, then take it somewhere else. If u let them fix it, a new engine installed is 10500. Plus the 2200. Ughhhhh

Thank u sir. In my case, the dealer did the tear down and they found 2 rods (1 on each side) went through the lock. They determined it was faulty bearings cause too much play in the crankshaft and stressed the hell outta the rods.
So ford admitted it was a faulty part and gave me a new 3.5 EB.

Hello Goose, I've been spying on ur build and I noticed you are planning to use belltech and McGaughty parts to lower your truck. I noticed a guy named Unbroken here with a simular drop and I loved the look a lot. Can you elaborate on why you choose this route with the drop kits? I can see you take a lot of pride in what you do so your input would mean a lot and maybe save me some trouble. Thanks!

Wow!

This thread reminds me of when I was in the middle of my 2002 Harley Davidson F150 build! Subbed!

It reads like a legit drama though, complete with a mid-season break.

Where are the pics of your mirrors already?
