Default 2016 Sport XLT 2wd 5.0, dropping on 22s

Well I ended up trading my Platinum in on a 2016 F150 Sport XLT. I skipped out on 4wd this time and went with the 5.0/3.55s instead of the Ecoboost. I miss a couple things that the Platinum had but overall I'm happy with it.
Plans for now are a static drop, 22s, bedliner/cover, exhaust and some vinyl wrapped interior. Long run will be a Whipple 2.9 with LTs and shaving the fender emblems.
Day one.

On day two I hooked up the boat to tow it 300 miles to meet a buyer.

Then I ordered these because I found them for super cheap.

That's as far as I am right now, I haven't decided for sure on tire size. It'll be 305/40R22 or 305/45R22. And I'm stuck between a 2/4 or 3/5.
I hope to be ordering tires, drop, exhaust and other little things next week. Probably won't get this one done in the time I had the Platinum done.

305/45 might be a little tall with the drop, its almost a 33" tire. I'd stick with the 305/40 especially with a drop.

That's what I'm thinking. I think the 40's will just look better if going 3/5(likely).

Default Nice!!!

I will be following this thread because I have the exact same truck and I'm wanting to do a 3/5 belltech drop and I am curious about how large of a tire I can go on 20's

I'm pretty stuck between the drop kits. The BT 3/5.5, Crown 3/5 or the DJM 3/6. After looking at lots of pics and from I can tell DJM actually sits the best. There are trade offs with everyone of them. I've ran DJM lowers before problem free.

Wondering when someone will release a drop spindle.

So I changed my mind on the Verdes, decided I'm going to change up the plan some on the truck. Called up Amazon and they sent UPS to pick up the wheels. Still going to do a 2/4 drop but just a different look on wheels.

Been talking to Centerline. Their options are 20x8.5 +6 or a +32. And 22x9 in a +12/5.5" BS. Really worried all of them are going to push past the fender except the 20x8.5 +32. Also been looking at the Enkei ST6 in a 20x9.5 +30 with a 285/50r20.

This is where I'm at so far. Crown 2/4 and tint. Turned out the Verdes were damaged and it was really bugging me so they went back to Amazon. Decided to go with 20x9 Race Stars this time. The Race Stars and Nitto 420S will go on tomorrow. Also painted the tailgate emblem, went with Duplicolor metallic black for the emblem. Forgot to snap a pic though.

Looks good, 2nd pic definitely doesn't make it look as low as the 1st one in the shade.
I've got your almost twin with the 2.7, bought from the same dealer, but on 45 (truck came from the 59 store).

Planet Ford has always treated us right.

Finally got the wheels. 20x9 Race Stars, +25mm with 305/50R20 Nittos.
