Hahaha, but white is mostly boring! Every time I see a magnetic gray F150, I wish I had gotten that color. My last 3 trucks have been white, and though extremely easy to maintain, my next truck will be anything but white.

That was me 2 trucks ago....the four before that were all white, and I said I'll never buy another one! I got tired of seeing white all the time... lol

Lol. I was determined not to have a dark colored vehicle this time. Plus I wasn't a huge fan of any of Ford's dark colors on this model for me. I like black, but I don't want to maintain black as it shows scratches so bad. My last truck was dark blue, and it was pretty good about hiding scratches, but looked dirty so quick.

I'm in the same boat, every day that I have the time to clean the truck up, it rains. Luckily, Magnetic hides dirt really well.

Well shoot... it's been almost a year since I painted my door handles. When detailing my truck this past weekend, I found a chip in the front passenger side handle. Not sure if it's from the road, or just the paint not adhering. I never received my adhesion promoter, so I did just primer, base, and clear coat. Now I wish I had used at least some type of adhesion promoter.
I tried to touch it up with left over paint and a q-tip, didn't work. I'll need to go buy a paint pen. I think that's all I'll do for now, but if it spreads or happens on another handle, I need to do 1 of 2 things. Either strip the handles and paint them with the adhesion promoter, then primer, base, and clear coat. OR, buy PTM handles from Ford and have a shop professionally paint them ($650 after parts/labor). I'll do the paint pen for now, but I don't have much faith that this will be the end.
