No, holes are preexesiting. You have to pop off the tail lights to access the back of them. Really easy and quick install.

Did about a 75 mile trip to my parents. Kept the speed under 70mph. Not bad.

25.7mpg on the drive back. A/C was on the entire time for this round trip.

I'm debating about spraying the plastic pieces that surround the headlights flat black, to match the grill.

personally I would leave it white...painting it black would make it look like the local utility truck
