fully color matched f150
i have a 2012 f150 in the pale adobe color. i ordered bronze wheels with 35's and just color matched a grill from a 2013 f150 and put it on. i went to the junk yard the other day and found a nice heavy duty aftermarket bumper and idk if it would look stupid or be too much bronze on the truck, the other option is black which it is now but need to be repainted before I put it on. what are some opinions on this?

My opinion is I don’t think that aftermarket bumper will look good.

Because I just think it’s ugly. I don’t think the gold and that really work together. It seems it’ll look out of place on that color truck with those wheels.

I'm.about to take off my stock bumper right now and test fit this one ill post a pic when im done. I had a slight feeling it would look bad in general too. But ill never know unless it's on the truck

If you already have it, there’s no harm in trying it if you have the free time.
My opinion, gold is kind of the classy older guy type color. The bumper just doesn’t seem to fit that theme.
If you like it that’s all that really matters though.

The OP’s truck would look better with chrome bumpers, grille, door handle pulls, wheels, etc.

I got the bumper on. But quickly realized it stuck out from the body too much so my day turned into a full on refab on the sides of the bumper. Hopefully it'll look better. Also gonna cut some length off the bottom and see if that makes it look better. And I'm aware it scream old guy, but maybe since no one's done it, it might look good put together
Edit : I also hate chrome on anything so that's not an option lol
