Default 2015 F150 Lariat Mild Build

Well, I bought my first new truck and it ended up being a Ford this time. I wanted a diesel bad, but I just have no use for one. I really liked the Ecoboost engine and decided to go with the F150 and I have to say they are pretty damn awesome.

I also have a 2015 GMC Sierra SLE work truck so I get best of both worlds at the moment. Ford interior is superior, GMC ride and handling is much better. Power definitely goes to the Ford.

Plans are:

-Colormatch grill and bumper
-Tint windshield and windows
-SCT X4 Tuner with Unleashed Tuning (On its way)
-Weatherguard mats (On the way)
-Maybe exhaust down the road. The turbo whistle is amazing, but the v6 sound is just terrible.
-Icon Stage 5 Suspension Kit

It comes with uca's, 2.5 Icon Coilovers with resi's including compression dampening control valve, and 2.5 Icon Piggyback Resi's for the rear with compression dampening control valve.

I am thinking of then running 20x10 Weld Cheyennes with some 305/55/20 Cooper STT Pro tires and calling it a day.

GMC plans are:
-Tint
-SLT headlights
-Tune
-Drive

Ordered the Icon Stage 5 kit today. The damage was rough lol

I talked to Icon and it looks like they have a 3-4 week lead time right now.

Sub'd. Going to be an awesome build. Really curious as to how the Stage 5 kit performs.

So after some research I found out 12's will not fit these new trucks without major trimming even if I were to crank the coilovers.

I've been looking for 10's and I didn't want to spend money on forces for x10's so I've been looking for welds. I ended up getting a deal on some brand new (still in boxes) 20x10 Weld Velocity's.

I haven't decided on tire yet, but finally some progress. Truck's front end will be painted February 1st as well. I'm hoping to try and knock out the leveling kit if I can get away from work this weekend.

Have you installed the Icon Stage 5? I have a '15 Lariat FX4 5.0, I just got my Icon Stage 3 a couple days ago. Going to try to install Saturday, I only have 500 miles or so on the new truck, curious to see the change in the way it rides.

Well I finally installed the Icon Stage V kit. These fords are pretty easy to install the kit and take everything apart.

Truck has about .5" rake now which will change as I plan on cranking the coilovers until it's level. Icon Stage V kit includes 2.5 resi coilovers with compression control, 2.5 resi piggybacks, and uniball uca's.

I'll also be installing the Welds this week if all goes as planned and front grille will be getting painted next week. Here are a few pics after I did a quick wash on the truck:

It feels tremendously better, but I'm curious to see how much more after an alignment and after it settles a bit.

I installed my Stage 3 yesterday. Truck had 800 miles on it. Put 100 miles after install. Not sure how the front compares to yours, rears I believe are the same. Install was too easy, took 2 hours. Mine doesn't look or feel out of alignment at all, but I am still going to get it checked. I hit some really big holes at 80mph and it was crazy how smooth the truck was.

Correct same shocks, just no compression adjustment. I'll see if it really makes much of a difference, but I have mine set at 2 currently.

My front end is definitely off camber, but I need to crank the front end a bit more before I align it. Truck is definitely smooth, I'm impressed with these kits.
