There are a few good writeups on the fxr install, but the d2s 4.0 just came out and it's supose to be really good. One thing that bugs me is on bumpy roads the lights jitter quite a bit. The 2.5" fxr are a 1/2" shallower than the regular, but I forget about compared the the ds2.

What shrouds did you use for your install?

Put 60k on the orignal brakes and still had about half life but last hunting season I bought a brake kit because I was towing the jeep. I just got around to putting them on about a month ago and now have a little over 2k on them. These puppies grab and really dont fade. Going down 4th of July pass in idaho four times in a row hit 80 and slammed on the brakes til about 20 mph repated without any noticeable fade.

Ya, one leaked in less than 20k and had close to 2" less down travel than the other. Got pissed then threw them in the garbage since it cupped my tires. I bought them to help with the annoying bed bounce I feel and they did nothing. Truck rides like crap on logging roads and bumpy highways, I'm sure part of it is from the road master active suspension. I just ordered some front and rear icon so hopefully that will improve it.

This pic right here looks like it's straight out of a Ford commercial. Beautiful shot!
