Default 2011 f-150

Bought this 2011 F-150 Lariat 5.0L Pretty much fully loaded.

I just sold my 1998 Jeep Cherokee se 230,000miles
bare bones Jeep as far as comfort!
With two kids and all the towing and outdoors stuff we do this F-150 is great! This truck need just a couple things to better for me, so i figure i would start a build page.

First thing i need a front hitch for my cooler / fishing rack.

So i got an adjustable hitch at a yard sale for $20. Welded up a set of brackets to mount it to the tow hooks, behind the license plate.

MotoFab 2.5" Front and 1.5" rear lift making room for 295/70/18 Cooper S/T Maxx. Wheels were stuck on! I had to work them like crazy, loosen lugs and drive around to get the wheels to pop off the hubs. After that it was easy no real issues.

After MotoFab 2.5" Lift

Got Cooper S/T Maxx 295/70/18 and an alignment done on the truck just before the snow hit us! I was a little scared they would hit, but they just make it with out any trimming! I was very happy with these tire in the snow and Ice! Quite on the parkway, no big tire squatting on turns. Very happy so far.

Great looking truck!! I was thinking of doing the exact same mods to my 2012 Lariat. Do you have any other mods planned?

Just picked up a set of Weather Tech Floor mats, with the full back mats. $100 and with all the snow and crap weather lately they should be great.

Height is now 78"

Other Mods planed
1: Led Bed lighting
2: Make rear fold down seat pins pull cord
3: Fiberglass Cap
4: Tuner for towing
5: Backup Lights Might change all the light bulbs out for the high output Leds
6: rhino lining bed

Looks great! Let us know if we can do anything to help, we offer some great products for the 5.0, including our MyCal tuner that can adjust for the lift and tire height along with giving you a great towing tune!

Drilled out rear seat latches for pull cord. Made a quick little tool to help grab the little pin. Made it much easier to get the seats down.

bent up a coat hanger to grab the rear seat pin.

Didn't know the rear seats folded down. Any pics of the back with them down?

I didn't take any of them down. Just did it for alittle more storage, jumper cables, snow brush, and tow strap.

There are several threads on it here:
