I did not have to remove the trim. Basically, I did one at a time, making sure to lay it down nice and flat on the pillar surface. After that, I cut it carefully with vinyl knife, leaving about 1/8th of an inch on each side. I then peeled back the weather stripping, which is very malleable and easy to work with, and using the edge of the plastic squeegee I tucked the rest of the vinyl down so it is covered by the weather stripping.
You'll understand exactly what I mean when you sit down to do it. It isn't a hard job at all, and only took about a half hour for both sides. I think it really looks nice though, especially with tinted windows.

After a short hiatus from the Forums due to course work, I'm back for the summer!
Next plans for the truck are painted appearance package emblems, rock lights, upper control arms and Raptor takeoff coilovers.
I'm hoping the coils can give me the extra half inch I need to completely level the truck, while also providing a better ride. If anyone has any suggestions for any of the aforementioned mods, I'm ready to here them!

Anyone have any experience installing Raptor coil overs, either on Raptors or on F150s? Theres two camber plates on top of each coil over, and I was wondering how those come off the Raptor.
I stacked them so that the top hat was angled to match the 4" spacer on the BDS lift, but the spring was rubbing directly on the frame with that setup. I also have to shave down the LCA to accept the larger shock body, but thats secondary to the fact that the spring literally rubs the frame.
Do I remove these top hat camber plates entirely? Do I angle them so that they cancel each other out and act as a spacer?

I'll get some this weekend, I think I'm going to tear the front end apart again with one of my buddies that does a lot of fab work. I'll get his opinion on it before moving forward. I definitely have to clearance the lower shock bucket on the LCA, for some reason they radically changed their design from the 04 style, which would have easily accepted the larger shock body.

School has been really killing all my free time lately.

Recently threw some Raptor running boards on the truck after I damaged my stock set off roading. I picked them up off a craigslist ad and it ended up being one of the admins over at Ford Raptor Forum. Great guy and FRF is a great resource if you're looking for some take off parts to throw on our trucks.
Install was easy, 8 bolts per side, and they make the truck look taller, as well as serve as a wider and slip free step.

Thanks, I keep modding the truck but have fallen off the forum game a little bit. I hope to pick back up soon with some serious updates.

The truck is filthy after the rain we have had up here, but here are some quick shots of the Raptor Running boards on a lifted truck.
I really like how they are so much tighter to the bottom of the doors than the stock FX4 set were, it really makes the truck look taller. The Line-X finish is also a huge improvement over the FX4 set, which get very slippery in the rain and snow.
I enjoy having running boards on the truck to protect the doors and bed from rock chips from the wider wheels, and these are a great alternative if you can find them.

Looks great, I'm thinking of getting a set of go rhino ones.
