new shoes for the truck, went for the 35's in toyo mt's as opposed to the 33 inch grabbers i had last time, had to do quite a bit of trimming but I like the look of the truck much better

also never mentioned that I finally got my blacked out oem tail lights

Those tires look really nice! Making me think of getting some mud terrains when these all terrains wear out. How's the ride?

the tread on these tires is very deep, much deeper than my last set of grabbers. On the first ride home it felt almost floaty, but it is something that i got used to within a day. I really like the ride, i'm not sure if its just the bigger tire, the depth of the tread, or some other factor, but it feels like it absorbs bumps smoother now. would recommend mud terrains especially if you want to have fun offroad every now and again

Real nice truck man.

If you don't mind can you tell me what offset and width your wheels are with those 33x12.5.x17 Grabbers?

From the pics it looks like you getting some nice suspension articulation with the setup you have. Can you comment on what kind of rubbing you experienced with the 33" setup if any? Also, how was the UCA clearance with the 33's installed

I would be interested in hearing if during the photo shoot or at anytime you have been able to go thru a whole host of suspension exercises and under what circumstance you encounter rubbing, again if at all? Can you crawl up a rock like in the pics with the front wheels at full lock and not rub? Similar question regarding the rear. When crawling up a rock at full flex what kind of rubbing or clearance issues do you get in the rear if any?

Thanks

the rims are 17x8.5 honestly offset confuses me, its either -5 or 14

clearance with the 33x12.5 r17 grabbers was no problem at all. I never rubbed in any situation front or rear, other than the little plastic valence that is under the front bumper. I cut that with my dremel just a little out of the way and never had any problems with the 33's. The 12.5 width tucked into the rear without a problem as well. With the 35's I have had to trim the front valence again, and had to do some trimming on the insides of the fenders towards the cab as well, but haven't had the chance to take them properly offroad yet.

Also wanted to mention that I ordered a set of powerstop brake pads as well as drilled & slotted rotors from stage 3 motorsports and they should go on this weekend.

Thanks for the info. If you haven't guessed I'm looking for wheels and tires for my own rig and finding ones that allow the truck to make full use of its suspension travel is very high on my priority list.

FWIW.....I found this pic from a different members photo album (hopefully they wont mind ). This rim is a + 01 ET Offset so in other words the mounting surface is more countersunk inwards towards the back of the wheel.

It may help you better understand the whole Offset thing. Based on this PIC compared to your rims I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you probably have the +14 ET Offset on your wheels since your mounting surface is closer towards the front face of the rim.

If you had a -05 ET Offset wheel the mounting surface would be even more countersunk towards the back of the rim then these are in the picture below ultimately causing the wheel to stick out past the fender MORE.
