Over the weekend I did a couple interior mods that I had seen other guys do. The chrome trim around the center console shifter I sanded down and painted a gloss black and then added clear coat. I really like the way it turned out.

The other mod I did was add a green LED light in the front cup holders. Spliced into the gear selector wire. Very cheap and easy Mod.

Your welcome
A good mod to do it re-route that aux cable though the inside of the dash and out from the passengers side and up through the area where the cable currently hangs down into. Always reversible and took only 30-45 min.
Unless you have already done it, can't tell from the pics.

Or you can do it like I did which is just taking a aux cable and routing it to the gap between the vertical wood grain section and center console.
Pop the fake wood grain panel first watching not to break the connector, disconnect the wiring clips, then unscrew the couple bolts that hold the top tray in place right above the radio, then unscrew/unclip the aux input, then take a long aux cable plug it into the aux input then electric tape it so it will not dislodge.
Then pop off the grey side panel on the passenger floor making sure to do it properly not to break the clips off (you may want to first pop of the center console panel where the shifter is to check if there are any bolts for the grey panel in place, since its been I while since I've done mine and I don't remember) .
Then take the aux cable and zip tie it in place and wrap the rest around the main harness again zip tying it until you get to the floor, then route it up to the area I mentioned and assemble everything back together.
It will leave the obvious hole on top where you removed the aux input, you can get a top panel without the aux input in the first place and replace it later.

It would be cool to move the AUX plug down in between the cigarette light and the park assist. Im just not sure what all I would need and how to do it
