How much horsepower are you pushing out the ol 5.4? Truck looks great!

Right now I have no clue honestly. She's running really strong. I plan on going to my friends shop and throwing it on the dyno before I start motor work.

Once I get hp/tq specs I'll post and I want it as a solid base so I know where I'm at.

And thanks its come a long ways !!

I imagine its a sleeper when you hang out with people with "bigger/badder" pickups.

there we go. thats what im getting at. i hang out with a lot of people with big huge show trucks and many have sema trucks. and i dont want to dump that kind of money into this suspension wise and what not. id rather do motor.

its got 148K on the clock.

been speaking with a few performance shops and im more than likely pulling the motor this summer and sending it to get built

my goal is somewhere in the 600-700hp range

Please update the thread what the cost is going to be if you get that done. I'm interested in doing it to my 2011 5.0.. I have a 135k? On it right now. And have thought of getting it built. However I would like to take care of some Minor rust issues that are just now starting first so they don't turn into something unfixable in the future. So I'll more than likely end up getting that fixed and undercoating before I consider building it..... Oh how I wish I lived in the south...... lol

offroad y-pipe with a straight through magnaflow and dual 5" tips before the passenger tire

2.5" Offroad y-pipe to 3" mid-pipe with a Carven R series muffler to dual 5" tips in front of the rear tire
