2006 FX4 Sleeper Build
Alright y'all
Gonna mimick my introduction thread since it described my truck lol
Got a 2006 F150 FX4 with the 5.4L 3V
Currently sits on a 6" Pro Comp kit on 20x10 Pro Comp wheels on 35" Nitto trail Graps
Volant CAI, Reische Performance 170* Thermostat from MPT Performance, Dual e-fans, and Edge Evo II tuner with updated tune files
Air/Fuel and Vacuum gauges
Lookin to get onto the performance side of the truck finally.
Had it for about 2 years and finally said it's about time to get to the motor. And then I'm re-doing the entire suspension and wheel/tire setup
Would love to know if there are any others in the Houston area!
You can can catch me on instagram @amont09 to keep up as well!
I also post funny **** on there
FUTURE PLANS:
Currently trying to work a deal on a 2003 Lighting complete drivetrain and doing a swap
Well first working the motor and then swapping
If that falls through THEN:
BBK 80mm throttle body
Double platinum plugs
MSD Coil packs
24# injectors
Mild cam
Port the heads
ARP studs to prepare for a twin screw supercharger next year
Port the lower intake to match the bigger throttle body
Shorty ceramic headers
Offroad x-pipe or Y-pipe to flow through mufflers
And custom tunes either from a local guy I have here in town or from MPT Performance
Transmission rebuild/shift kit
Re-gear to 3:93 or 4:10 gears front and rear
Interior:
2009-2014 F150 seats front and rear
Rear seat lift with custom sub box
Black sueade headliner
Black overhead console and visors
Exterior/suspension:
22x14 Forces
33" nittos
6-8" coilovers
New UCA's
Possible rear 4-link
Ladder/trac bars
Rock lights
Powder front/rear cross members, radius arms, UCA's, coils, knuckles, rear leafs, and diff covers.
Would love any input. This is my now weekend driver/toy/show truck as I have a 2016 xlt Texas edition ecoboost for work now.

installing my under hood rocklights today, well going to start the wiring/routing process (for truck/car show purposes and also when working on the motor)
am going to have them either on a toggle switch or on a type of press switch and mount it somewhere that allows the weight of the hood to press it down to turn them off and when the hood opens the switch is released and they turn on automatically
since the truck doesnt come with a hood/engine light, ant use an existing harness

Don't get me wrong, truck looks great, love the color and wheel/tire combo, just absolutely not a sleeper.

I'm not new to the car/truck world lol
But In the realm that I'm in with the truck, no one expects anything from gas trucks in the truck scene, everything is diesel and diesel performance in the world I'm in
Gas trucks don't have much performance
Hence why I plan on a it being a "Sleeper" (even tho it's not really a Sleeper)
But thanks man. She's come a long ways and it's only going to get better from here
