I'm finally home, still on my night schedule and still sick but it's been a few weeks since I ordered this so I just couldn't wait to put it on. I finally got around to buying a dash cam after years of contemplation and finally decided it's stupid not to have one. I pulled the trigger on a Viofo A119 (no GPS unit) and got around to installing it today. It's a little more out in the open than I'd like but it is what it is. I wanted to move it up a lot more but I don't think the pad will stick that good to the raised "SUPER DUTY" lettering on the window. So far I'm not impressed. The lens although moves left and right like it's secure has a little play in it (a lot on video), and it seems to move a bit on the mount. It moves a lot less than the suction cup mounted ones do, but I foresee me jamming something in there to make it sit still and putting a dab of glue to make the lens not move left and right. Other than that, it's what I hoped for. The picture looks very blurry but I had a hard time getting my camera in there behind my mirror and it didn't want to focus, on top of that it's raining. It's not the clearest thing in the world, but it's a lot clearer than what the picture shows, maybe I'll do some driving and upload a video when I feel a little better.

EDIT:

Here's a picture driving down the road at 50 mph.

Got rid of the Nittos, didn't have the traction I wanted and they were way too loud. I ended up buying brand new tires for the first time in my life, I went with the 275/70R18 BFG T/A KO2s.

How do you like those bf's cause I'm trading my mud tires for the same exact tires and size because my mud tires scream on the interstate. Good reviews?

So far I have ~120 miles on them, the noise levels are great so far. Their not as quiet as my old Toyo H/T's, but no where near as loud as those Nittos I had. I really have to listen for the noise @70 MPH and even if I think I hear a tire hum I'm not sure if it's wind or not. Can't say anything as far as traction from 1st hand experience, but I know my uncle can get just about anywhere in his '99 CCLB F-350 with these tires which was the tipping point in me buying these over the Duratracs.

nice truck. I'm always curious to see, how's the leather looking on it? properly conditioning the older KR seats is what makes the difference and after working at a dealer for a couple years, I could see that 9 out of 10 KR owners have never once heard the term "leather conditioner."

Thank you! The rears are in great condition, but the PO of my truck, just like you said, never heard the term "leather conditioner". I bought the King Ranch conditioner and I use it ~ every month but the front seats will never be how they should unless I let a professional do it and even at that they probably need to be replaced. They aren't cracking (minus a 3" tear on the drivers side bottom), but they feel like an old work glove. The back seats still feel like normal auto leather.

pinnacle makes a really nice leather cleaner and conditioner that works wonders on the old king ranch leather you should try it. It seems to work better for me than the king ranch brand stuff

I had an old co-worker with an '07 F350 KR that had the very rare quad captains seats that had been neclected for 160k miles. he bought this kit and I helped him apply it. sanding down seats was not my favorite thing to do but they came out looking like new with the exception of a few dark stains (I think they were coffee or soda) that wouldn't come out. if you google "king ranch seat dye" you'll find some threads with before and after pictures.

I've read from more than one source the KR leather really needs weekly treatments to keep it looking new. I was hesitant on getting one but found a very nice used truck other than the leather, previous owner obviously had at least two very young kids. This way I'm not overly heart broken when my dog tears it up.
