Aw(...), so you're the one who takes all of those freakin' sweet pictures. Nice job on the truck, and also on the pictures!

I posted a few on the first page. I didn't really take any of them when they were on the truck. I put the chrome ones back on because I didn't like how the painted headlights looked with the big chrome fog lights.

The back bumper has held up perfectly with no issues. I just recently put a few more thick coats of clear on it and it looks a lot better. When I cleared these initially I didn't put it on thick enough. The back bumper feels smooth like the rest of the truck. Front one has a rough texture to it. There are some rock chips in the front one but they are very easy to touch up. I am going to pull the front one off soon and touch up some rock chips and then add another few coats of grey and some clear. In some spots the paint doesn't look even and looks weird from certain angles. When I painted them it was a very windy day and I had issues getting an even coat

Thanks man. I think that is the perfect place to put them. That section pops right out so it's easy to drill into and there is nothing behind it.

Very impressive Rossi. The last time I was on the forum was when you started listing the 02 for sale. My dad traded my truck in for his so I just kind of left....but now I'm in the hunt for an 04-08! I hate to be a copy cat but your truck is exactly what I wanna do when I get around to getting a new truck.

Great idea layering the plasti dip down first and then painting, I was experimenting with this before I sold my truck. Doing the process with plasti dip is a great way to keep the cost down and you can do it a bunch of times for less then the price of a body shop.

Your photography is awesome man, those pics look great! Well anyways great job with your truck, I love how it looks! I hope you don't mind bouncing ideas back and forth once I get my new truck, cause I'll definitley be asking you for help haha

Oh and its nice to see a michigander active on here, i sure do miss living up there. Trails everywhere, and so much gorgeous open land!

Don't know if its just the awesome photography or what but I love your truck! I think you have given me the inspiration I needed to try the plastic dip dupli color bumper trick. If it can last through a Michigan winter it should do just fine here in Georgia. I know you said you werent a fan of the DSG headlights, but i think they made it look much meaner frm the front. By the way I am from Kalamazoo originally and am a bit jealous of you living in Ann Arbor...Go Blue!
