Sorry for not replying for a while. I accidentally hit "unsubscribe" on my phone. So I was never notified. Anyways to answer the bedside questions: I am doing the suspension first. The raptors have the same axle, but it is a little wider to match the front end. If it looks too goofy, then I may consider some billet spacers, if I can determine they're strong enough. But the rear suspension will be the same as a raptor. Contrary to popular belief, all this raptor stuff is bolt-on. There isn't a whole lot of fabrication needed. Once I have all the suspension parts, install will take 1 or 2 days tops. They do make raptor conversion fiberglass bedsides for the 6.5, but they look weird, because raptors don't have such a long bed. I'll worry about the rear looks when I finish the front.

Awesome!! I initially wanted to go with your midtravel kit, but it was out of my price range, and I didn't want to deal with finding new snouts, bearings, rotors, etc. I really like your products!!

Thanks for the kind comments

I know we don't have least expensive stuff on the market, its why we have been trying to come out with some less expensive items like our lift spindle and upper arm combo.

Okay so here's the update. Outlaw has been VERY busy and will not be able to strip down the stock raptor, so my parts are about a week or two away. However, the Fiberwerx conversion kit was ordered this morning and should be here in about a week! So I may be a raptor wannabe for a while. If really like if I could finish the truck during spring break (next week) so I could take it out for a couple days, but the parts may not be in.

Subscribed, looking forward to see where the truck will go as your convert the set up!

Looks like a fun project, had a question for ya, whered you order ICON coilovers to fit your 6 inch lift? I am runnig a 6inch BDS, trying to see where I can possibly order a set of 2.5s that are adjustable up to 8 or something (6"-8"), I appreciate any response, thanks man!

I ordered my coilovers from Outlaw Offroad in Santa Ana CA. They took a while to arrive. About 2 months. I'm selling mine but they probably won't be off for about a month. Also if you want to run 4x4 with more than 6" lift, you will kill your CVs, as I just learned the hard way. And then the bearings will get blown as a result. Just a heads up.

Damn, Im sensing a little bit of bitterness.

Just throw your CVs? Thats a damn shame, at least all the more reason to transition to the LT setup/Raptor. Sorry to hear bud.

I'm not bitter at all haha. I just wanted to warn you about some problems that come with any kind of leveling kit. My friend said that it's also a problem with raptors that sit on the third perch. That's all. The raptor coilovers that I install will be on mid-perch, which doesn't stress the CVs too much but gives a little fluff in the front and brings it almost level.

I stopped by Outlaw yesterday, and the truck that I am getting my parts from has been torn down. So the plan is to pick up the parts on Friday. The Fiberwerx Raptor conversion has been ordered, but has not arrived yet (to my knowledge). Now I just need to get some headlights, and then start planning out the rear.
