Default Zane's Toy

Recently purchased this 2009 FX4 supercab. Previous owner installed 20" Boss 335 wheels w/ Nitto Terra Grapplers.

Default My first mod

About a week after purchasing this FX4 I had a Rostra tailgate handle rear view camera installed. I upgraded to Pioneer AVIC-F9310BT. Able to a flash drive with unit. The flash drive I use is 64G, and contains 223 albums. The albums are mostly greatest hits, best of. Some of albums have 2 to 4 CDs worth of music. So it will be awhile before I hear the same song.

I am planning to get rid of all the chrome and black out the vehicle. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thanks in advance.

Default DIY spray on bedliner

When I brought the truck it had a plastic drop in bed liner and an over the rails toolbox. The problem was due to the design of the bed liner, the toolbox could not be placed all the way to the front of the bed.

Since I don't do heavy hauling, just small household items, I decided to spray on a bed liner myself. After doing research and searching this site for info I decided to use RustOleum's truck bed coating spray. I put two coats on and I think it looks pretty good, at least alot better than the plastic bed liner and now I can have the toolbox all the way to the front of the bed.

Default Custom Ford Emblem

I am working on getting rid of all the chrome and "blacking out" my truck. I recently got a custom Ford emblem off EBay (seller is tomstubes). I only got one because I plan on getting a Raptor style front grill. I also plasti dipped the F150 emblems on the fenders and tailgate black.

If you're set on the black wheels, sell those and get something with a more aggressive offset IMO. Those belong on a dropped truck.

I plan to get rid of the wheels, they came with the truck when I bought it. Thinking about some 20 inch VTEC black Raptors.

That is a stick over emblem correct? It just covers the one you have on there? How is the Fit and Quality?
