Been working on the center console a bit and stripped out the cab to get the mounts installed. Took out the headliner too, as I have some antennas to install. Just wish it was summer, as these short, cold days suck for getting things done outside.
Still have a lot of sanding and painting to do, and I'm re-organizing my stereo amplifiers because they were just laying under the front seats. Sub-woofer gets mounted in the console, and the amps are going under the back seat with a second battery to come.

Finally a bit of an update.
Got a chance to get it a little dirty, finally. Just some slightly muddy dirt roads, but had a little fun.
Finally figured out where to put some switches for the dust lights and some floods I'm going to mount pointing outwards from under the truck in all directions, as well as the battery combine switch and voltmeters for the dual battery set up that goes in soon. The 2001 dash is the dash from hell as far as almost zero flat surfaces to mount anything to, radios, switches, whatever.
Then I've all but finished the center console, minus wiring.
I'll take a picture of the sub-woofer from the bottom when I pull the whole thing out to give it one last coat of paint and add a few wires I forgot to run.

Thanks, It handles pretty much the same as stock on the street, but get it off road and it handles the bumps and such like they're not there, at least the front. The rear end can't keep up, but will have to wait till I can get the scratch together to bring it up to spec. spring under Deavers and 3" King bypass shocks are on the agenda, hopefully before the Baja 1000.

I bet the front soaks them right up. Get on a dirt road here with stock suspension and you'll be rattling teeth. haha I forgot the rear was still stock, I bet it will glide when you get it caught up with the front. Glad to hear shes performing well though.
