Default 2001 SuperCab 4x4 Prerunner Build

Bought what I have named Tabitha in early August 2015. She had 48,500 miles on her when I picked her up. Plans include an HM Racing Design Long Travel front suspension with King coil-over and bypass shocks and bump stops, Deaver spring under leafs and King bypass shocks in the rear, and lots of other goodies.

Painted the grill with Fusion paint for plastic and made a back seat extension for my German Shepherd to have more room in back. Used a piece of plywood and some rod for hanging clothes for legs. Put some foam on it to make it a little cushy and found a throw rug to cover it that fit perfect. Makes for a happy puppy, and keeps the fur off the seats...happy owner!

List of Projects:
Expedition Brake Upgrade and braided Lines
Front Suspension and Fiberglass front fender Install
Change Differentials to Detroit TrueTracs and gears from 3.55 to 4.10
Paint Shell
TireGate
Build custom bumpers
Install LED Light Bar in bumper
Install CB and Race Radios
Rear Suspension install
Bed Toolbox
Spray in Bed Liner

Finished Projects:
Upgraded Stereo to Head unit with Bluetooth and SiriusXM
Paint Grill
Added Hella Horns
Buy Shell
Doggie Platform Rear Seat
Stock with First Aid and Tool Kits

First thing Tabitha got was some new BFG A/T KO2s to replace the wore rubber she came with. SIze is 285/70R17 on Helo 17x9 wheels. Then I found an awesome deal on a shell, wrong color but for $300 I'll get it painted and will still have saved a bundle. Next up is a pair of dust lights out back.
First thing I did when we got home was give her a bath, that shell had been sitting around for a while collecting dust.

Seems to be so far. Just a little surface rust in a few spots, and things like the brakes have never been relined. I took it in and had them flush the cooling system, change out the original hoses, flush the brake fluid, and change the fluid and filter in the transmission. Wanted to start with a clean slate and know where everything was at.

Just bought the parts to do the Expedition Caliper upgrade as well as better pads and rotors.

I made my exhaust a true dual system by cutting the drivers side before the Y-pipe and running each side into a Flowmaster 2 In 2 Out 40 Series muffler then routing them to the passenger side in front of the rear tire, kind of like the Lightning. Pictures to come. Sounds and runs awesome, I;m sure my neighbors love me.

Started to do the Expedition Brake upgrade and finally looked at my new rotors, damn if they didn't send me the 6 lug ones by mistake. Dummy me didn't notice till I tried to put one on the hub. Back to the computer to fix parts foul up.

Here are the major parts minus the coil-overs, axles and a few other odds and ends:

And a truck with the same kit and fenders, but running 35" tires (35s are in the future for Tabitha too):

Pick her up next week, can't wait!
