There are so many things that can cause it, it is really hard to point to one thing.

Steering Stabs, Hydro Assist, or full Hydro are just band aids for the problem.

Spring Bushings

Shackles, Dave'z Offroad Performance has no DW shackles that a lt of people swear by (link below).

Trunion bearing pre-load

Caster, if you try to change it with angle shims, use steel ones and weld them to the perches

Toe-in

Toe-out Some people have cured it by running 1/8-1/4 toe out (?).

Measure to make sure your axles are square to each other.

Had one friend whose shocks were shot, when he replaced them it went away (don't ask me why).

Wheel bearings not adjusted right

TRE's shot

Tires out of round/balance

A few things that can cause DW, that actually the main reason for my truck getting a rebuild. My tre's and spring bushings where shot, and I didn't want to spend money on my tons since I wanted to go 2.5tons.

Do you have a steering stabilizer? If not I have a sky jacker dual setup if you need it. They do wonders!

Well lets see. No death wobble before I swapped tires. Now death wobble ha. Tires and rims are bout 60 lbs a piece heavier. Shouldnt matter since they are 1 tons. Two piece rims..... sections werent aligned to each other properly. No steering stabilizer. Have one dont like the brackets as well as it dont fit properly. Tie rod diameter must be smaller on different year 60s. Everything up front is new bearings to bushings u- joints gears bushings shocks. Heim joints for steering linkage. Only original piece left up front is the tie rod. Which will be replaced for heims to eventually.

Aslo I dont do bandages. I know steering stabilizers etc only cover up problems. I would like to fix this prior to fabbing one unless yours would work and you could cut me a deal ha.

I am gonna start with the wheels. The two pieces being out of alignment can cause extreme balance issues as well and throw the tire out of round which is I think is what is happening.

Got my edge for like 350 off craigslist cts model. Its quite an investment but money saved in long term part replacement and no bs vacuum system for 4x4

Aint like the 94 i had that box was solid. Nothing dented it. Now days material gets thinner to save on cost and increase mileage. It was a pain and I slightly warped the box but they are sealed tubes now nothing can sit in them nor eat through um twice as thick proly more yet. In the end I hope the box will stay togther otherwise aluminium flat bed here I come.
