1995 F150 4X4 SB Eddie Bauer 12k Original Miles
Hello fellow Ford enthusiasts,
After looking for months I recently found a 1995 F150 EB 4X4 SB Scab 5.0 manual / overdrive with 12k + some change original miles up in the NC mountains. 1 owner lady who retired from the NC Forestry after 44 years. She drove the truck exactly 2.5 miles on a dirt road to her watch tower every day. The truck is a time capsule. Like new original tires that have only seen a dirt road. Every part and piece of the interior is like new with no evidence of wear anywhere. Undercarriage is dusty but not one speck of rust on the truck. There is not a dent anywhere and the bed only has 2 small rub marks where a bedliner sat in it. Every piece of chrome is perfect as are the tail lights, headlights, bumpers, etc. Amazing truck.
The one issue the truck had was the clear coat. It was parked in a barn and birds / bats did some of their business on it. Even after repeated detailing you could see the haze spots. So, the truck is now primed and prepped for proper paint coded PPG Shop-Line JBP Acrylic Urethane Basecoat and a very good clearcoat. I don't know if that was a mistake to repaint but I had to with an otherwise like new truck.
At 12,000 original miles I wonder if there's another with lower mileage / condition anywhere around...that's why I'm second guessing the repaint.
Happy New Year to all.
