For the 1st time I was able to drive my truck. It ran OK. Tranny was not right but as someone suggested to me a while back when they sit the converter may empty or fluid leaks. There was nothing on the dipstick. I had a quart and put it in and it ran much better and was shifting. It seems to be idling fast. Also the temp gauge isn't working. Is the wire in the pic the temp gauge? Thanks. Jim

Finally the weather has cooperated andI was able to get the exhaust manifolds off and long tube headers on. I was able to start it up and take a quick, although noisy, open header spin around the block. Ran good but started sputtering a little on the return trip. Very low on gas and who knows what is in the lines. I may replace them all in the near future. Jim
