Got the wheels painted light gray now. Before i didn't even take them off the wheels. Also couldnt get the cassette player to work on the new radio. (Might be doing something wrong) so i put the mechanical back in. Making a dual snorkel out of the extra air cleaner soon and also shocks are getting installed whenever i have free time. Heres the omly picI have right now of the light gray wheels.

I put mudflaps from my 84 on. Also found this badass looking truck. Not a huge fan of those wheels but the truck looks good!

Well, this is the 3rd paint job for the wheels. Every time it gets better. I scored some 16" trim rings off a 3/4 ton chevy. 1986 f250-photo163.jpg

I was looking through my lmc catalog and found the vin decoder. After decoding the vin, I found that my truck has P for where it was built. The code P stands for the Twin Cities, MN plant which I think is awesome because I live in Minnesota! It seems like the truck was sold in Montana, then I know it went to Wisconsin and now I brought her home. On my 1984 f150 that was built in the Twin cities plant and sold at the mankato ford dealership (medium sized city 10 miles away from me) and has a twin cities plant sticker. When the 84 gets scrapped im going to see if I can get the sticker off and save it to put on my truck.

Scored an old school light bar that the broncos/blazers used to have. Testing how it will look with the kcs from the grille guard

I think I may have found out which mirrors my truck had. Still no idea what factory was, but the truck did have a camper on it. They are not west coast mirrors as the mounting location is a tiny bit off. I think they are a combination of junior west coast mirrors, and an extra mini mirror. Looks like this. 1986 f250-photo457.jpg
The main junior mirror like that.

And the mini mirror from that truck. Now that I am positive what I have, I will try to get some junior west coasts at the JY.

Installed clearance lights finally and got a bumper from the salvage yard with the rubber inserts. They both give the truck some good looks I think. I also replaced the fuel filter now instead of waiting till spring even though I don't drive it in the winter. I think it is time to drop the tanks because it is pretty bad for only 5 months. 1986 f250-photo19.jpg1986 f250-photo656.jpg1986 f250-photo359.jpg
