2018 Magnetic SCSB FX4 Build "Smokeshow"
After 7 weeks and a few visits to the installer, my 2018 502A Lariat FX4 is ready for prime time. I decided to go all in on this truck after caving in and selling my brother in law my 2015 Ecoboost F150. He asked me what I would get if I sold him my truck, and there was only one answer: A Whippled 2018 5.0L F150. I briefly thought about a Raptor, but the finished product in my opinion is much better suited to my needs, and still cost less!
This is the first truck I didn't personally handle the install on, but since 707 Performance at Sarasota Ford came in with the lowest bid for the Whipple install, along with a free bumper to bumper 3 yr/36K mile warranty, they got the job.
Installed by 707 Performance: 2.25" Readylift level, 20x9 Raceline Clutch wheels w/ 305/55/20 Toyo AT2 Extremes, AMP Powerboards, Magnaflow catback, color matched badges, and.... a Stage 1 Gen 3 Whipple Supercharger
Because I can't let them have all the fun, I installed: Fox 2.0 Rear Shocks, Bedrug bedliner, Bak MX4 bed cover
Here's the almost finished product. Still need to remove the FX4 bedside stickers, and get the exhaust tips painted black to match my "no chrome" theme

Awesome looking truck! I got the same truck and looking forward to getting rid of the stock running boards and am currently looking at the AMP Research powered running boards! My question to you if you do not mind me asking: Is using the OBD port a must to connect the powered running board? If so do I need to order the OBD port splitter?
Thanks,
Al

Yes and Yes. I believe it is the only way they sell the AMP kit for your trucks.
Yes, I gained over 300 crank HP with this cold air intake. I'd say it was definitely worth it.
