installed the f150lifts grill light kit today, what a great kit. could i have pieced and built it for a little cheaper, probably. but it would not have been this nice or easy. i havent seen one of these on a harley grill so i got both sets of legs to make sure the lights would sit right. i used the 3" ones and they sit perfect in the grill. the install was very easy and all parts were provided. install is nice and clean, wouldnt notice it unless you were looking for it. the lights are bright and match the turn/running lights perfectly. called alex today to let him know how pleased with it. worth every penny as far as im concerned. here are a couple pics

I like the truck. I'm thinking about upgrading to the front fox coilovers and going to the dynapros for my next tire. The trail grapplers I have aren't so nice on mileage and not the best for road noise. I ended up making my own raptor grill lights just to be a little different. Cost about $30-$35 dollars all said and done. I'll be watching this for new upgrades.

got my sct yesterday with custom tune by svc. i searched around, mainly on raptor boards due to most all having the 6.2, and settled on svc. i know mike at 5* is popular also but i read a few negative things about his tunes. couldnt find anything bad about svc. also all svc does is raptors so their focus is the 6.2 unlike 5* that makes tunes for all. had a few conversations with jeff at svc and ordered the tune. i have been running 87 since new and i like the price so i have only run the 87 tune. im sure curiosity will get the best of me and ill fill up with 93 and see what it feels like. but so far its everything i expected. ive seen alot of people describe it as "night and day". i wouldnt go that far nor was i expecting it. maybe with the switch to 93 it will be, who knows. the acceleration is much more noticeable, firm shifts, holds gears longer, doesnt need to drop a gear everytime you give it some throttle and very smooth powerband. lets be honest its a n/a tune with no other modifications but still feels so much better than factory. all engine vitals look good and nothings feels overly stressed.
i asked about towing and was told there should be no problems. we will see next weekend, im hooking up the trailer and cobra next weekend for the first time.
overall i got exactly what i wanted: better shifting, more power and a smooth throttle. big thanks to jeff and the boys over at svc

had some time this morning so i installed the morimoto xb led fogs. install was very easy and they look 100% better just because of the housing and lens. i will have to aim them tonight and get some light output pics but for now im happy
fresh out the box
hard to tell but driver side morimoto and pass oem. they match the headlight housings perfectly. i hope since i have morimoto hids the light output will be the same color. we'll see tonight

did my final "towing" mods the other day. installed a set of ford 2" rear blocks to add a little rake for when the truck squats and also installed a set of timbrens.
i was skeptical of the timbrens at first but so far they have been great. no real change while riding unloaded. if you hit serious bump you can feel them engage but most of the time you would know they were there. they passed the wife and kid test too. when loaded they perform great. dont have any sway and very stable. truck only squat about and 1" to 1.5"with a 6k trailer and 400 lbs in bed of truck. ideal set up, no. good set up for what i need and want, yes
not much to say about the block, its oem and so are the u bolts so i know they are quality. install took about 45 mins.
how truck sits now with 2" blocks
timbrens and 2" block
timbrens from side view
all loaded up and ready fro the show

ill be in the market for another tune shortly. my svc tune just isnt cutting it for me. performance was ok but the 3mpg loss is the deal breaker. i have an email into jeff at svc to see if there is something wrong or something he can do. if not ill be on the hunt. spoke to 5* today, may go that route

update: when i bought my truck i didnt have a plan to install a catback. i know the factory exhaust flows good and i didnt want to spend the crazy money that they cost. well i came across a great deal on a stainless 3.5" mbrp single exhaust with resonator. so i jumped on it and and i couldnt be happier. not obnoxious loud but has a nice low rumble. install was pretty easy and it looks good too. here is a short start up video. only has about 10 miles on it so im guessing the sound will change after a few miles
