How not to ship...
I'm going to start this out by stating the seller was easy to deal with and shipping was quick... I'm going to leave him anonymous. Whether the part/product cost .50 or 5k, it should be properly boxed and protected. My package arrived at noon today. My Ole Lady pulled up to the house and called me immediately telling me how jacked up the box was, sides busted out, and looked like electrical tape to close off the ends... Looks like the original box he was going to use wasn't big enough, so he decided to add about 1 ft of another box to the original box... As I am writing this, she is breaking open the box to do her own inspection on damage on the shipment itself... Keep that posted as well...
And yes, it's Mardi Gras season at my house!

Unfortunately it is from a fellow F150forum'er. I'm impatiently waiting for the old lady to reply back to me with the update...

i got a set of wheels shipped to me once, and that's about how the packages (2) looked like when they came in $250 for the wheels, $500 for powder-coating to replace the destroyed (used-to-be-perfect) paint job on 'em...
sorry to see that

Luckily he wrapped it all up properly. I just hope there was an excuse for the terrible box job...
