Default Dorman Hoses etc

Dorman has a decent rep. I've been happy w axles etc. But I am unhappy about heater hoses for 2001 (5.4L) F150s, bursting after 50 miles and again after a cpl years. 1st set that went was done by a reputable mechanic/shop. They crossed the hoses. So, say it wasn't Dorman's fault.
2nd set just ~10,000 later. Hmm. I had to kludge the hose at the eng-to-core supply and added a 90° while leaving the restrictor. I dunno who makes their hoses... When they go you can lose a col plugs and coils and lack pwr to make *any* incline. Moved to OEM hoses. But I don't care for constant flow cores... I'll be adding a summer partial bypass &/or more restriction.
