Default Thank You BuiltRight.

Hi, because I now have access to behind my back seats, I have a place to keep my Ice Scraper / Snow Brush, Torque Wrench, Breaker Bar, Extension, and Lug Nut Sockets. I also mounted a Locking Pistol box on the seat back frame. I drilled one hole for a self drilling bolt and used an existing hole for a nut plate [speed nut] to mount this lock box.

Will it work on mine also I have those amps installed, infact there's a third one now as well..
It looks like you've got an 09-14 supercab, which unfortunately, we don't have a figment for just yet. Your latching mechanism is much different. We're working on it, though, and will keep you in mind as we approach a testing phase of the project!

This is EXACTLY the reason I developed this product. I'd love to see a couple of pictures if you ever find the time. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi,

(1.) Back seats in place.

(2.) Ice Scraper/Snow Brush, Torque wrench in it's box, Breaker bar in pool noodle, Lug nut sockets, for truck and trailer, and extension in other pool noodle.

(3.) Locking pistol box mounted to seat back.

(4.) Pistol and one magazine in place.

(5.) Pistol box with self drilling bolt into tube of seat frame on upper right. And a machine threaded bolt, bolted to speed nut installed onto already existing hole in seat back frame.

Great product and price, fast shipping and 5 minute installation. You can't ask for anything else....except maybe one of those new bed rack systems.

Had to create an account just to post a review (I will probably cruise around the forum now too). I did not even know about BuiltRight Ind until last Tuesday when YouTube suggested me watch an install video of their seat release. I have known about the space behind the seat since I bought my truck, but I didn't want to dick around with making the key ring style pull.

Watched the YouTube video Tuesday (7/25) night.
Ordered 2 release kits for my truck at 425pm on Wednesday (7/26).
Had a shipping confirmation sent to me at 1103pm Wednesday (7/26).
Had the parts in my hand Saturday (7/29) afternoon when my mail got delivered.

That is really nice service for a small outfit. Super job!

I installed the kits this morning (7/31). It took me longer to get something to fit next to the pin to release the seats than it took to install the kits. They look top notch. The fit was good (the part that holds the nylon strap did not have enough bend to clear my seat back, but that is fixed as the machine screws are tightened down).

I would buy from this vendor all day long with this kind of service and product! :-)

Just ordered one yesterday and received shipping email already. Tracking shows it should be here August 3rd. Looks like a great solution for lowering the seat back.

Just got the back seat latch kit in the mail. It came in a day earlier than anticipated. It took all of 5 minutes to install and it works great, so much easier than trying to reach your hand behind the seat and finding the small pin on the latch. A great little product!!

The rear seat release kit was just perfect and so easy to install! I had no idea there was any storage behind the rear seats. When I was looking on Youtube to find out how to repair my rear electric slider I found BuiltRight Industries and their products. I was so impressed with the product and ease of installation I purchased two more kits for my younger son. Great product and American made.
