2011 5.0 Candy Red with gunmetal wheels. DIY.





Painted my 20" Lariat OEM wheels. It was an all day event, of course outcome will vary depending with how you prep. I have OCD so prep was extensive, and center caps were removed and painted seperate.



Used wheel paint, gunmetal 4 coats and 5 coats of matte clearcoat.



I think they look amazing, reminds me of the 2003 lightning concept. They're a real head turner too, the truck gets a lot of attention, from guys wishing they would have thought about that before buying black rockstar styled wheels.<br/>

They look great! Here are mine, but I used Rustoleum Peelcoat in graphite. Cost was $12 and can be peeled off. Been on for almost a year now:
