Default Windows- One touch down for both super-cab windows.

What you need to know.
Using a SPDT relay with a diode.. Same as your one touch relay.

How the logic works behind your factory electric windows. Although its mainly controlled by the GEM in our models.

How factory wiring works.
Notice that the motor switches polarity to reverse direction, thus moving the windows up/down upon changing polarity. It works like an ordinary DC motor. Change up the + and - wires and it reverses direction; this is the same logic with the window regulator motor. It's a very simple design. If anyone without power windows is looking at adding them, this is the perfect diagram to use with any rocker switch. This diagram is for one window, each relay works a separate function (one for up, one for down). So two sets of these would be required to add power windows to a supercab without power windows.

Also, note: Although the relay mechanism looks fairly simple, the logic behind it quite interesting. Notice how the SPDT (normally closed) relay's allow the motor to ground and apply power to the proper side by the rocker switch.

Connectors and Schematics

How to wire the "auto down" for passenger side.
Here is a general mock up of the diagram.
The motors in the windows are hard to deal with because the rocker switch actually grounds one side and powers the other. The motor has no permanent ground, the ground switches sides when the rocker switch is hit from up to down, or down to up. So in essence the polarity switches when you change functions (up or down). So I had to figure a way to mock that, and without allowing power to flow back into switch(diodes wont work unless you get a really high amp one). I really don't suggest a diode for this application as they can burn out and ruin the resisters and circuity in your window switch.

This mod will only require you to cut one wire and splice into each side of it. The red wire in the drivers door on the connector. It is called the passenger down sense. You will cut the wire about six inches from the connector so you will have room to splice on both sides. The wire still attached to the switch will have only 1 wire spliced into it. The other end of the red wire flowing down into the door will have two wires spliced into it.

Still working on a very detailed how-to with multiple options and applications.
Hope someone actually does this, spent alot of time research and testing.

Note: both of the top two relays must be SPDT NORMALLY CLOSED. The relay on the bottom can be a simple spst.

Will organize tomorrow... These are for additional options for double click windows down and other things. They are also for reference. Will patch them up tomorrow as well.

Finish this thing up tomorrow, hopefully....

Actually found a way to add a MPG calculator using the GEM, so might get back around to that when I have some time.

Me and wiring don't go together,if I attempt this my window button will work my cruise control and my cruise control button will turn my radio up. Good idea though, maybe you should come do it to mine.

Its not too bad. I'm gonna simplify it tomorrow, it really takes like 30 minutes to complete it if all you want is auto down on the other side. I'll clean it up some tomorow, so it doesn't look like a physics book.

I'm just really not confident when it comes to wires, which is why I have put off getting several things for the truck already. Maybe I should try something small and see how it goes.

Ibd I do believe you are the Moses of mods lol. Great write up though, I will try this when the weather clears up

When you simplify it, it will be done. I too am not very electrically inclined but if I have a good step by step I'm all over it. I did manage to install an e-fan and I am looking forward to this mod. I would also do the double click lock all windows up, so I promise I won't let it be a waste of your time.
