you got an FX4 with a tow package . so i assume you already has a 7 wires trailer plug. the center is your reverse hot wire .and i believe all ford with a tow package does

That's where I'm currently connected. Wanted to get as many wires inside the cab and not exposed for years of salt, heat, etc.

i used a rubber insulating tapes with my connectors 11 years now and stil holding in the midwest salt 3M rubber tape its sticks to itselfs and glued together when you done .
