A relay from switched power to the park lamps would do it

You can use a diode between the high beam wire and the low beam wire to keep them both on. The diode will not let the power from the low beam feed back into the high beam.

Ok i didn't read all the way to the end and i haven't opened any of these links because it sounds like they're the ones I already pulled, i have an 03 it doesn't have the factory wiring, i bought and modified the factory switch where the fogs can be turned on at the running light position, I've run one wire out to and across to both pig tails, and the other wire from the pigtail to ground at both fixtures (probably part of where I'm messing up) what i want is to have the switch function as if it were factory (except being able to pull the fog switch at running, and i want fogs at high beams) I'm sure theres a relay involved that isn't present nor are the wires in the fuse box under the hood. they are at the plug for the switch though. If you could help me out i would appreciate it alot, between this and trying to figure out why my sn95 is being an asthmatic brat, and my wife's van, I'm struggling. Even if you could run me through the flow of power through my plugs it would help, I've pulled diagrams, none really match 100%

Anyone ever consider Federal DOT code limits the amount of light emitted on highway vehicles even in high beams for a good reason?

yes and i rarely use my high beams anyway, and with every other truck on the road running either the sunshine at night light bars or lights coming from everywhere under the vehicle, i've never seen that code enforced, i had this same response when looking for this same fix on my mustang gt, and my response is just as valid here for me but i don't expect everyone drives all their trucks like sports cars, but like my mustang, i break the law a little every time I put my tires on the road, the legality of my lighting is probably not what a law enforcement officer is going to be worried about. I respect our law enforcement officers and when spoken to with respect most of them will return the favor, i have had a few officers pull me for speeding, (I'm not reckless, i just don't agree with speed limits) most of the time i get a be safe and thank you for carrying. (Makes my wife so mad, she almost always gets a ticket) i just want to have control of how my lights work, without burning it up. I run my running lights all the time. i want fogs with them. Thanks, sorry for the rant
