I dont see the real purpose to BSM as all id does is turn off accessory power when the drain has reached a predetermined discharge so that the truck has enough battery power to still start.
Nice! Thanks for this info.

No worries. With Forscan, you can always undo changes that you make.

Hey, if you do you do, but I would always do the other stuff 1st! Big 3 is always at the top of the electrical upgrade path...before adding amps and def before a new battery or alt.
The lights dim with just one crap 10" kicker on a 400 watt amp. The new speaker's RMS is 2440. Two 12" 2 ohm Alpine Type R's at 1000 RMS/3000 peak and 2 pairs of Alpine 6.5 Type R components at 110 RMS a piece. The new alternator is 220 at idle and 370 at 2000 RPM. It's being ran from a Pioneer AVIC-8200. Go ahead and add 2 light bars, a compressor, the AC, etc. It needs 300 amps and alternators don't charge full capacity at idle. The higher the amp, the higher it charges at its worst. I've contacted Ohio, Mechman, and 4 other alternator manufacturers on top of doing my own research.

I still say when this happened, I would have done the big 3. From reading all of your electrical upgrades in addition to your audio, I would agree, lol you need an alt. I have used several companies in the past, but will/now, only use DCPowerinc. There are differences in alts. Hot/cold amperage ratings...rpm power band, voltage etc. They are not all created the same for sure. excessive amperage seems to spec well on paper though.

I'm definitely going to have it tested before I install it. Lol. He said it's a 6 phase large case and asked a few questions about if I wanted an internal regulator to which I replied no. If it all comes through good I'll definitely be giving him good recommendations all over the Internet.

Oh, I will! He's already been extremely responsive and most everything bad I found (he's been building them for the better part of 2 decades) said he made it right.
