Default H13 6000k hid conversion kit

Just installed some hid's on my truck and I must say they look absolutely gorgeous. Haven't yet seen how bright they are at night, but it will be here soon enough and I will take pics and post them.
Here are some pics on the wiring and how I mounted the ballasts

I see you did not use projection type headlight housings. What you have is a bright splash of light with the stock headlight housings. HID's are intended to be used with projection housings to utilize the brighter light.

The install job is top notch. Very clean wiring.

Projectors are expensive. I plan on getting them soon but this will work for now... It's brighter than stock bulbs and that's what I wanted. I'm not sure I I will retro mine or buy some... Opinions are welcome

You should stick to paying professionals to wire things up for you. Not to bash, but that looks pretty bad!

How is that not to bash? You must be one of the people that don't install anything yourself. Just 'cause it's not perfect looking doesn't mean it doesn't give you a satisfaction to do it yourself

Sure the wires dont look professional but being done by yourself I think they look just fine.

Probably because the camera never does lighting justice but in the second night picture they dont look like the colors match.

Oh and I agree with the others, please eventually get them in a projector housing and I prefer the aftermarket halos to the retrofits. The retrofits done here by a few of the guys really look great but I prefer the Recon type of lights.
